What is PDF page removal?

PDF page removal deletes chosen pages from a document and keeps everything else as it was. It is the quickest way to drop blank pages, cover sheets, outdated sections or pages you do not want to share before sending a file on.

This tool loads one PDF and shows every page as a thumbnail. Tick the pages you want to remove, or type their numbers and ranges, check the selection, then download the PDF without them.

How it works

The PDF is rendered locally in the browser to draw the thumbnails. On download, the chosen pages are taken out of the original document rather than the rest being copied into a new one, and anything only those pages used, such as their text, images and form fields, is left out of the saved file. Your file never leaves your device.

Tips

  • A range without an end, such as 8-, runs to the last page, and -3 covers the first three pages.
  • To keep only a few pages, type their numbers and press Invert selection.
  • Bookmarks and links that pointed to a removed page stay in the file but no longer lead anywhere.
  • At least one page has to remain, so a selection that covers every page cannot be downloaded.
