Tool description

This tool reviews your resume with AI and tells you how strong it is. Open a PDF, Word or text file, and you get a score from 0 to 100 on a scale from weak to strong, plus what works, what hurts, and what to change first.

Recruiters often decide in a few seconds whether to keep reading a resume. The AI reads yours the same way: it checks the structure, whether your achievements have real results and numbers, the wording, and whether anything a recruiter expects is missing. An average resume scores around 50, so a low first score is normal and leaves room to improve.

Features

  • Reads PDF, Word (.docx) and text files in your browser. The file itself is never uploaded.
  • Shows the score on a color scale from weak to strong.
  • Lists strengths, weaknesses and concrete suggestions that refer to your actual lines.

Tips

The text read from your file appears in the Insert text tab, so you can check it and fix anything that was read wrong before the review. You can also paste your resume there instead of opening a file.

Up to 5,000 characters are reviewed, which is about two pages. For a longer resume, remove old jobs and details that don't matter for the role you want. That usually improves the score anyway.

Run the review again after each round of changes to see if the score goes up.

FAQ

Is my file uploaded? No. The file is read in your browser, and only the text you see in the Insert text tab is sent for the review.

Why was no text found in my PDF? Scanned resumes and resumes exported as images have no text layer. Paste the text instead, or export the resume again from your editor as a PDF with text.

Does a high score mean I will get the job? No. The score measures how clear and convincing the resume is in general. A recruiter also compares it with the job ad, so adjust it for each role.
