What is image warping?
Warping bends a picture along a curve so it stops being a flat rectangle. Design apps have ready made warp shapes for this, such as Arc, Flag and Fisheye in Photoshop's Warp Text. They're used most on logos, titles and text saved as images, like a name curved over a round badge.
Tool description
Drop a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, BMP or AVIF image on the tool, pick an Effect, and set how strong it is with Bend. There are 12 effects: Arc, Arc upper, Arc lower, Arch, Bulge, Squeeze, Flag, Wave, Rise, Fisheye, Twirl and Ripple.
Bend goes from -100% to 100%, and a negative value bends the other way: a Fisheye with a negative Bend pinches the middle instead of swelling it. Flag, Wave and Ripple also get a Waves slider. Horizontal taper makes the right side bigger, or the left side with a negative value, and Vertical taper does the same for the bottom and top. Reset goes back to the default arc.
Under Export settings, pick PNG, JPG or WebP, a Resampling mode, and the Canvas: "Fit to the warped image" or "Keep the original size", which cuts off what falls outside. Empty areas stay transparent unless you turn on "Fill the background", and JPG always gets the background color. The full size image is rendered in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.
Examples
- Curve a title with Arc to fit the top of a round sticker.
- Make a logo flutter with Flag and two or three Waves.
- Spin the middle of a photo with Twirl, or add rings like a stone dropped in water with Ripple.
Features
- 12 warp effects with Bend, Waves and taper sliders
- PNG, JPG or WebP download at the full size of your image
- Transparent or filled background around the warped shape
