What is a Discord invite?

A Discord invite is a short link, such as discord.gg/AbC123x or discord.com/invite/AbC123x, that lets anyone join a server. Most invites have a random code and expire after some time or a number of uses; big communities often have a permanent vanity invite with a readable name, such as discord.gg/discord-developers.

Tool description

Paste an invite link or code and press Check invite. Without joining, you see where the invite leads:

  • The server's name, icon and description
  • Members and Online, Discord's approximate counts
  • Verified and Partnered, Discord's badges for official servers of companies, games and creators
  • The channel the invite opens, who created it and when it expires
  • The server ID and a clean invite link

The check runs on our server with Discord's official API, the same one the Discord app uses to show an invite's preview, so no account or bot token is needed.

AI assistants connected to the Rapid Tool Set MCP server can run the same check as discord_invite_checker.

Tips

  • Scammers copy the names and icons of popular servers. An official server of a company or game is usually Verified; if an invite claims to be official and isn't, get the link from the official website instead.
  • An invite that fails the check is invalid, expired, used up or deleted. Ask its owner for a new one.
  • Invite codes are case-sensitive: AbC123x and abc123x are different invites.
