Tool description
This tool replaces every letter ё with е in Russian text. Paste your text and get the result instantly: lowercase ё becomes е, uppercase Ё becomes Е, and everything else stays exactly as it was. It also shows how many letters were replaced.
Why replace ё with е
In everyday Russian writing ё is optional, and many texts use е instead. Mixing both spellings in one document causes problems: search does not find "ещё" when you type "еще", spell checkers and glossaries disagree, and databases store the same word twice. Replacing ё with е gives a single consistent spelling.
